i.n.g was a Taiwanese girl group signed under Avex Taiwan. The group consists of Ida, Nara, and Gillian. The group debuted on 5 May 2006, with their first album called Lucky Star. Because i.n.g released their album on the same day as Jolin Tsai, a pop star who had built her fame over a longer period of time, their shot at success took a major hit. Of all the CDs sold in Taiwan during the week of May 5, only 2.46% were Lucky Star. i.n.g debuted at #8 on the G-music charts, but fell down to #11 the next week after Tsai released yet another album. Lucky Star stayed in the G-music Top 20 for ten weeks, but none of the album’s songs were ranked on billboard charts.

Instant-runoff voting (IRV) is an electoral system that uses ranked voting. Its purpose is to elect the majority choice in single-member districts in which there are more than two candidates and thus help ensure majority rule. It is a single-winner version of single transferable voting. Formerly the term “instant-runoff voting” was used for what many people now call contingent voting or supplementary vote.
In the United States, IRV is commonly referred to as ranked-choice voting (RCV) (although there are other forms of ranked voting), and it is called preferential voting in Australia, where it has seen the widest adoption. In the United Kingdom, it is generally called alternative vote (AV), whereas in some other countries it is referred to as the single transferable vote, which usually refers to only its multi-winner variant.
